Alex Hessler is a CG and XR supervisor and consultant. He is a passionate creative contributor and technical problem solver. He thrives in building and managing teams of engineers and artists to build content for clients. Alex got his start as a CG artist on Oscar and VES award-winning films such as The Chronicles of Narnia, the Harry Potter series, Avatar, Pixar’s Inside Out and many others. During his time supervising at Tippett Studio, he led a number of VR and immersive theme park projects. Alex now consults on XR and CG for a number of companies, as well as managing VR production teams.
Nick Loy is an award-winning VFX supervisor, XR artist, and experience designer. As an ardent advocate for bridging art and emerging technology, Nick thrives in creating new and unique human experiences. Cutting his teeth as a Technical Director at Sony Pictures Imageworks, Nick led look development and lighting teams on a number of critically acclaimed films, developing innovative solutions for hard technical and creative problems. Building upon his wealth of CG experience, Nick now supervises XR and VFX projects in Portland, OR.
Peter Vickery is a VFX Supervisor, compositing artist, and programmer. He led teams on several Oscar-nominated films such as ParaNorman, the Boxtrolls and Kubo and the Two Strings and his work contributed to a VFX Oscar win for Inception. He specializes in integrating digital and physical worlds with a special focus on augmented reality and projection mapping. His latest projection mapping project was a highly acclaimed sight specific animation at the WeWork building in Portland.
